Hi,

I am very new to projectors. I moved into a new apartment and wanted to buy a home theater projector. The distance from the back of the projector to the screen is 12ft. Before I buy one, I want to know the max picture size my projector can display given the 12ft distance. I plan to purchase the BenQ W500.

Does anyone have guesstimate on my max screen size?
 
thats a nice projector. you know how much lamp life you have and how much they are to buy?
 
Lamp life according to newegg.com is 140W, 2000/3000 hours (Normal/Economic mode)

The lamp cost approx $225-$250 to replace and can be found at many retailers...search for 5J.J2K02.001. This is about the best bang for the buck projector I can find. Unless someone here knows of a better value?
