I'm probably going to sell my current 9800 Gtx to a friend who has an old ati card on my next paycheck. My plan was to do so for about $100 (roughly $30 off new price, if I'm correct) and use that towards getting a newer card for myself. I was wondering what the best option would be though?
Right now I'm looking at an XFX Radeon 4890 for $195. Are there any similar/cheaper cards that perform equally to that though? If possible I would rather stick with Nvidia, as I've always just liked there stuff more, but at the moment I'm willing to go with whatever is more efficient on my wallet.
On a side note, power requirements can't be too much more taxing vs. my current 9800 gtx. Don't have the money to really upgrade the PSU too...
