I need a good 100GB or greater Hard-Drive that will deliever good performance, fast speeds and overall just good. I cant really order online so im looking at items in like Compusa,Bestbuy,Circuitcity and things like that.
 
Look here, then get a hold of your local newspaper and watch like a hawk for a rebate special in your area on the drive you want. You'll pay through the nose otherwise at a B&M store. Your most likely to see WD, then Maxtor, then Seagate/Hitachi on rebate special.

You may also want to browse in FS/T, there are usually a few good drives floating around there, if that's an option to you.
