Need good console based RPG's

Looking for console RPG's the good ones.

I have Mass Effect already, and Oblivion, and fallout 3. (oblivion and fallout 3 on the pc.) Looking for a good engrossing RPG. Don't care of it is a JRPG or not. Can be xbox 360 or PS3 as I have both.

Any recommendation?

I want something more current. Otherwise I'll just advise to get me a pre order for dragon age.
 
lost odyssey was the best rpg I've played and I don't even like jrpgs. There's none of that grinding crap, it's more about strategy.
 
i heard borderland will have some rpg feature... maybe wait for that
 
The PC version of The Last Remnant is a lot of fun with the usual Square high replay value. It runs on the Unreal engine I believe and looks great on a decent PC.
 
my vote goes out for Valkyre Chronicles
 
Fable 2 no doubt, it aint turn based and thats why i love it. Great game awesome world.
 
Yeah I am in the same boat and I have my preorder already in for Dragon Age: Origins. Other than that, hit up Fable II, Lost Odyssey, Last Remnant, Infinite Undiscovery. I dont have a PS3 so not really sure what they have out/coming out, but something else that looks good if you can get your hands on a Wii... Muramasa: The Demon Blade and Valhalla Knights: Eldars Saga.
 
I only own two RPGs at the moment and they are Fable 2 and Eternal Sonata. I like them both. Eternal Sonata is turn based, but with the way the battle system works, when it becomes one of your characters turns you control them and can attack as much as you'd like until your timer ends. There's a demo for it on Xbox Live, so you can check it out first.
