I finally got my a64 3400 in. I am running it at 210x11 or a 100mherz overclock and i'm at 55 degrees on full load, 48 on idle. Can some people please post some good HSF's that I can use with my DFI Lanparty ut 250GB board. I'm on stock cooling right now and I'd like to overclock to 2400 mhz and at same time get temps down to 40.

Thanks in advance.

thermalright XP-90, you dont have to remove your mobo to install it. its works extremely well, fits on most mainboards (havent heard of anyone having clearance problems with these yet but you never know) friend got one for his setup and is running his A64 3200+ 1mb at 2.4GHz 1.7 volts. it dropped his idle temp from low 50's to low 40's. not sure about his load temps.

Thanks a lot. Anyone know if the XP-120 from thermalright will install without removing MB?

SLK948 with a 92mm panaflo h12.

Works awesome for me - probe temps are currently 36c idle, 45c load @ 21c room temp as measured on the hs base. With no OC my temps drop over 8c.

It'll install without removing the MB, but clearance is more of an issue. I also suggest the XP-90; with the XP-120, you're almost hitting a point of diminishing returns with such a size.

Wow, thanks for all the quick responses. With those in mind and other research, my xp-90 is on the way now from Newegg. I'll post and let you know if I get decent numbers from my a64 oc'ing attempt.

I'm still figuring out the complicated bios on the dfi lanparty ut 250gb.

Any fan will do really, but the Thermaltake fans (the orange ones) look really impressive. I use a 92mm YS Tech fan that blows 66CFM at 40dba. I came from an 80mm Delta Black Label and this thing is still pretty damn loud, though not quite on the same level as the Delta.
