Need File Hosting Service Recommandation

I need to find a file hosting service that does direct access with URL without opening another web page to click on download link. Is there any thing I can use? Either free or subscription is ok.

I used to use streamload before they went to crap, and the service I am currently using, yousendit, does not allow direct download.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
 
But I thought Rapidshare requires downloader to open their web site, waiting time ensues, download.
I need a direct download file hosting service that works with my software's background update service.
 
If you're uploading files to access at another location yourself, it's perfect. if you're sharing files with another person, they'd have to have premium services, otherwise there's a 'wait time'.

There is no additional software required. Everything can be directly linked.

Mediafire does rock, wish it became more popular...

zshare is also pretty good
