I am having issues with excel and I would love some assistance. This is not homework!!!!! This will merely save me some time at work. Here is the setup:
A value is being placed into a cell we will call district# on sheet1. The various values that can be placed into district# on sheet1 is also listed in a table on sheet2. The table has 9 columns with a heading at the top of each column. The table has been sorted ascendingly and not each column has the same number of values.
There is another cell on sheet1 we will call team.
I need team to be able to look at the value in district# and see which column in the table on sheet2 that value sits. I need the column name returned to team.
It is not that I am not familiar with excel, I just cant figure this out and any help would be greatly appreciated.
