Seems up for debate from my searches on the web. I'm building another -bigadv box this week and it will have a 9800gx2 folding in it as well. Do I need a dummy plug since I will be running Win 7?

some people have had mixed results with the registry hack (mine didnt work) but the only surefire way was to get a dummy

I thought newer drivers + Vista or Win7 = no dummy plug necessary (that's what I gather lately from comments on a couple other threads).
I've never needed a dummy plug (even running multiple gpus on 1 board) but I don't have experience with an x2 card and that may be different, I dunno.
