I'm so confused with all these new cpu's out now days. I haven't built a new system in a LONG time.
I'm still running on an amd athlon64 X2 dual CPU 4800+
Basically I'm not going to be doing any overclocking, and not a whole lot of gaming either, the only thing intense I will be doing is HD movie editing.
So I'm looking for a cpu in the 100-200 dollar range that will be obviously better than what I have and will be more than adequate to handle HD movie editing.
I'm looking at possibly a core 2 duo? Or is AMD still the king when it comes to bang for the buck?
Either way, I don't have an AMD or intel preference. Just whats going to be the best that I can to get the job done for me.
