Need Cooling Opinions

Before I start off here is my stock cooled PC specs:
AMD 2500+ Barton
^ Stock AMD heatsink ^
1024 MB (2 DIMMs) Corsair RAM
AIW 9800pro
Asus A7N8X mobo
Antec SOHO File Server case (w/ stock 2 case fans)

And that's about the jist of it as far as what needs cooling

So I am planning on adding a couple more case fans, I'll probably switch them all out to be Panaflow 80mm.

Then I need to get a better processor heatsink, any reccommendations? Is it hard to remove the old thermal tape from the processor?

As far as cooling my 9800pro and the RAM, I am lost. I am thinking about getting the VGA Silencer for the 9800pro as I hate the high pitched sound the card makes. Does it also cool well (I am planning on OC'ing and maybe flashing to XT)? Then for the RAM, would I benefit better with RAM heatsinks or the thing that just goes over the whole DIMM?

I think that sums up the jist of what I plan on doing. Sound good?
 
Nobody has any opinions/suggestions as to what I should get? I've been thinking about getting the Arctic Cooling VGA Silencer. Any thoughts on it?
 
i dont know much about air cooling, i'm more into the h2o secne.

i'm always a fan of just moving air over components to cool them off. then, if that is not enough you could spend the cash to get ramsink, which coupled with the air circuliation you already have setup will really cool it off well, but only if you feel the need to go that far.

I suppose I may just invest in a new CPU heatsink (need recommendations on this), 3 or 4 80mm Panaflow case fans (and maybe another for the heatsink?), and some ramsink.

Should I worry about cooling the AIW 9800 if I plan on OC'ing it to it's max potential?
 
its pricey but IMHO its the best air sink around Thermalright sp-97 for a amd. strap a tornado on it and watch the temps and the neighbors trees drop :D

If the sp97 is a little to expensive for you. I woudl try the SLK900a its cheaper then teh sp94 and its prob a couple degrees warmer, but still a great heatsink. As for a fan. any of the monster huge CFM fans are great for cooling, but if your worried about how loud they are. I woudl look @ the Enermax 80mm variable fan it blows 40 CFM but only 32 DB and its quiet and gives you pretty good cooling.

The Arctic Cooling VGA Silencer is a great heatsink for video cards. I have one on my 9800 pro and love it. As long as it fits the AIW 9800 pro then I would differently pick one up
