Need cooler for 3850....

What coolers fit the 3850? My buddy is sick of his 90C+ temps. He knows it voids the warranty but doesnt care. Thanks for any input or pics.
 
Well we just placed an order for the S1 rev.2 that is made for the 3850/3870 and 8800GT etc... I have a 120mm fan lay around that should work fine of a zalman fan mate. Anyone else tried the S1 on thiers?
 
Not really helpful but why is he getting 90c temps? Is he running it at 3870 speeds?

Has he used a util like rivatuner to manually make his fan spin faster?
 
could not get the fan control to work.. everything grayed out... does rivatuner support the 8.1 driver? His computer is also a silent build and turning the fan up will probably annoy him.
 
Got the S1 cooler and teh temps are 33C at idle and mid to upper 40s while gaming..... WAY cooler then the stocker. I stuck a 120mm fan on the cooler and used a zalman fan mate to slow it down. It did not come with anything to cool the area on the back of the card (Voltage regulator)? We took the stock sink and cut the back part off so we could re-mount this. The 120mm fan moves enough air to keep all parts very cool. Later we will see if we have some room to overclock it higher as 680 on the core is all that would get stable becuase of the heat with the stock cooler.
