Yeah the 9600 is a decent card, but as the others stated, the 9600 Pro is better and is still in your price range.

There's a 9600Pro for 110. Your best bet would be to go with the 9600Pro for your price range. :)

but on the subject again... I would imagine that the card from newegg can do what you need.... don't have a tuner so can't really say...
