Can someone recomend me a PSU for a KT333 Chipset computer. It's pretty old so I just need something that will work without problems for now.

looking to spend around $50 for around 400 watts.

I don't see a UL number. Any idea who makes them Johnny? Scythe makes very good fans, would hope this carries over to the PSU world.

With a name like Beef Bowl..

I'd trust the FSP 300w. The one with a single 80mm fan. It works wonderfuly.

Get one of the middle end Fortron Source units. Great reliability for a great price.

I especially like this one here:

It's a dollar over your budget but it's worth it. Awesome little PSU for the price.

Don't get those. They use Dual rails, and older boards (which don't have the 4 pin) can't support it, so you're only using one rail, and crossloading can happen.

In Japan, Scythe doesn't label power supplies. But they do sell several different power supplies to their vendors. So you can buy a Scythe fan and a Superflower 480W power supply, for example.

I guess they realize Americans are stupid so they can get away with rebadging where in Asia, everyone knows the factory brands (for example: You can actually buy a Seventeam 750W SSI PSU over there. Over here, it's an MGE/XG "900W.")

I'd say pass unless you know for sure what it is.

for $50, you can get the AMS Mercury 460w. it's 80mm fans, but very quiet. According to Jonny.

I just don't want to put a really loud PSU in there or I would get the one with the 80mm fan.

Are you sure the dual rails will be a problem because I don't see teh additional power plug it appears to only have one.

Cause I like that one the best so far.

The specs say 12V1 and 12V2 right on it. 12V2 goes to the 4-pin. If it didn't have a 4-pin,it wouldn't be an ATX12V power supply.

And the AMS is a dual 12V rail as well.
