alright guys I've decided it is now time for me to begin dabbling with water cooling. Money is not really a problem, however, I would like to keep it as cheap as possible. I dont need extreme hardcore crazy watercooling for my first setup, but I would like some pretty good performance. Here is what I will be working with and what I will be needing:
Radiator: I am hoping to go single rad, maybe dual single rads since I do not want to cut up my LL pc-7b. One intake, one exhaust, or just one at the exhaust. I want to use a low speed 120mm fan, so I'll need a radiator that is tailored for those kind of fans.
a decent cpu/gpu water block. I have a 3800+ x2 and a x1800xt that I would like to cool down. I am thinking swiftech storm and the swiftech vga block with ram sinks. Thoughts on these?
The pump I noticed that would work well in my case is the swiftech pump/res combo that mounts in a 5 1/4 bay. Would be very simple. Perhaps I should use that higher powered swiftech pump?
some 3/8" tygon tubing and some non-conductive coolant.
As I said this will be my first water cooling setup, so I do not know the ins and outs of WC and what would work best. In my case, I feel it would make 'sense' to go dual radiator with that swiftech pump/res, but that is only becasue it all seems to fit well.
I am open to all sugestions and look forward to some replies.
Thanks homies.
