Need assistance in testing overclocked / stock (processor)

I cannot figure out how to overclock my processor. Could someone help me test overclocked/stock processor with GTX295 same settings(testing) want to know is there any gain fps wise, and if there is will try harder to find way to keep the processor stable
overclocked.I know there is many test on the net already but all show difrent results
some claim there is gain some there is not.Some users test Help will be highly apperciated thanks in advance

You will see a fps gain if you are currently cpu limited.
To check if you are cpu limited, use task manager, around 90% or higher use on any core will start to limit you.

Dont think that im cpu limited corei7 should be enough just want to know if higher clocks
pull the card any faster thanks anyway

So how do you anticipate that more CPU will possibly help?
If you arent CPU limited, then nothing needs more CPU, so a faster CPU wont help.

ps an i7 920 machine at stock speeds can easily be CPU limited.

psyside, chances are an overclock will help you significantly.
