I'm a journalist and recently bought a digital recorder. A zoom H2. I need an app that will allow me to cut mp3 and wav files, as well as piece them together. I've searched and I've found a bunch of audio apps and most are music related and I have no idea how to find just what I need. Most apps have soundboards and such. I really don't need all that much control. I just need to cut and piece audio files. Can anyone reccomend a good, simple, affordable app?

Audacity for wav, mp3DirectCut for mp3 editing (if you want to do it losslessly).
