So i have this card
EVGA 512-P3-N801-A1 GeForce 8800GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

Im trying to find one on ebay or somewhere to SLI, but all i can find are ones ending in EVGA 512-P3-N801-AR

Not sure the difference...i want the exact same model number to make sure i dont have SLI issues dont i?

They have different model numbers based on accessories or free games are shipped with them. Different games, different #. Or you could just buy my identical pair of EVGA 8800GTS 512 that I own.

As long as it's the same gpu they will work together in sli. the -A1 and -AR designations indicate warranty coverage (does not apply to used cards) as well as other factors.

Even if the cards are clocked differently they will work together. However, the software will set both cards to the lower clock speeds.

as long as it's another 8800gt 512mb card then it will definitely work, doesnt matter on part number or brand

Can anyone confirm?
I can confirm that when I was looking at 9800GTX+ they had several games available and the only difference was the last 2 digits. That's why the specs that you see are identical, the difference is the packaging, not the cards.
