Hey guys, i hope you understand my messy english, i'm from switzerland ;)

I was able to buy some used (about 8 years of duty) network hardware a few weeks ago but as i am not an expert on network hardware, i can't rate if it is something you can still use in a productive area or not.

I've got 1 Hirschmann Mach 3005 and 10 Hirschmann GES-24TP/Plus switch.

The Mach 3005 is set up with 30x SX 1000 fiber ports, 4x LX 100 Mbit fiber ports, 24x 10/100 Mbit Ethernet Ports and 3 redundant PSU's. I tried to find some technical data about the backplane: Max. Datarate: 40 Gbit/s, 29,7 Mio. Packets per Second

The GES-24TP has 24 10/100 Mbit Ethernet ports and 1 SX 1000 fiber port. Google tells me:

-- 24 ports with RJ45, autosensing 10/100 Mbit / s &
full / half duplex, each 512 kByte Memory
-- RFC 1213/1493/1398/1757
-- 16,384 MAC addresses, max. 4096 per port
-- 4.2 Gbit / s / s internal bandwidth, store-and-forward
Switching
-- Spanning Tree IEEE 802.1d, per Flow Control
Port 802.1x
-- IEEE 802.1Q VLANs and prioritization to
IEEE 802.1p
-- 4094 VLANs, port and tag-based
-- Port mirroring, broadcast limit
-- Inband management: SNMP, Telnet, WWW
Browser via HTTP, BootP / DHCP
-- RMON 1-3 and 9 per port
-- Outband management V.24
-- Standards: IEEE 802.1d, 802.1p, 802.1Q, 802.2,
802.3u, 802.3x,

All switches are managed.
I could possibly buy some more of the GES-24's, but does it make sense? how much should i pay at most? or should i possibly sell all of it asap? how much could i get for all the devices?

Greetings from Switzerland
