Ok I am hoping all you creative people can help me come up with something here. My little book shelf stereo is finally on its last legs and is need of replacement. In my computer room I've got an M-audio revo7.1, a very capable Klipsch promedia 5.1 setup and a generous mp3 collection. I'd like to spread that music to other rooms without having to deafen the neighbors.

One thing that comes to mind is a sete of wireless speakers. I'm not familar with a computer device that will do that however. Also I don't want to replace or negate the system I have. I'd like access to the mp3 collection and be able to change tracks from any listening station.

To me this begins to sound like a job for a local shoutcast server over my wireless network and some simple client computers.

Anythoughts on how to do this, or a better solution?

Well listening station computers is an option I'm considering. I'm just wondering if someone knows of a product or other solution that my be simpler/cheaper than building a whole new computer. I'm not against this option, as it has other advantages, but just taking a survey
