Looking to build a h20 setup and need a few suggestions. have 250 to 300 to spend and its been 10yrs since i built the last one. I'm not against a kit but would prefer to piece together. system in sig was built yesterday. Just don't feel like pouring over reviews for a month. Appreciate any suggestions.

I suppose you can build a full loop to cool both the CPU and GPU, especially if you look at used parts but...

Antec cases generally aren't very watercooling friendly. That DF-85 will probably support a 2x120 in the back and a 2x140 at the top, which would be enough to cool the CPU and GPU in your signature.

Mainly looking to cool the CPU. Didn't think about the gpu or bridges but cooling the gpu and the CPU would be doable. Any ideas. Blocks, Res, pump, Radiator. Tubing size. My last build ten yrs ago was 1/2 in. Is that still standard now or no.

Ok...

Cpu- Xspc Rasa
Pump-Mcp-355
res-which ever one you choose
Rad- Im no sure but a Xspc rs240 would good,
Fittings- Compression or Barbs? I dont know if you will have enough for compression. You would need about 6 or so which is bout $60 then or with the mod top you would need 8 so thats $80 or so but they look so amazing
Tubing- 1/2" ID would be the best for flow rates and that stuff
I think stock wise that pump uses clamps but you can get mod tops which let them perform better.

1/2" is the most common size, many people also use 3/8 since it's easier to route, and has a minimal performance hit compared to 1/2".

Barbs are your best bet on a budget, I recommend using worm-gear clamps.

Single RS240 is fine for a CPU only loop.

Wo ho i got something right for once lol :) What do you think about my pump suggestion?

thanks for your replies and suggestions. the unit i had built yrs ago was all housed in its own case and that seemed to work ok. kinda like that approach rather than mounting anything to my case. although its was huge. like same size as mid tower.. too big. hollowed out refrigerant reclaimer.. used condenser for rad.. removed the compressor and mounted pump and built a res out of 4 1/8 copper.. thing held like a gallon.. did take a 1gzh t-bird to 1.8 on a Iwill kk266. Are there any prefabbed boxes to house equipment now?

Im confused to your request i guess... Everything we sugguested would be inside your case its self? Only other thing i can think of is something like this...

what im really aiming at is building a housing for pump, res, and rad. then running my tubing to the blocks in the comp case. finding a housing is one thing but your suggestions for what pump ,,what blocks (cpu, gpu), what res, tubing etc.. thats what i need, the guts of the loop. and i want those parts to be good. sorry for the confusion. im currently searching for an enclosure to house these parts.
