I think my video card is fried (Geforce 4 Ti 4800 SE agp8x) Im looking for the best card i can get for 280 dollars and less got that tax return baby.
 
A 6600GT, around 200, is probablly what you are looking for, I always prefer BFG brand nowadays.

Or perhaps a 6800 "vanilla", which is around 250

I doubt you will be able to find an x800XL in an agp flavor anywhere near that price unfortunaetly.
 
I'd definitely go for the 6800 vanilla. Mine unlocked the extra pipes and shader with RivaTuner, pulled a 4300 in 3DMark 05 with a mild overclock. Lots of hidden power in those cards for the money.
 
you can find 6800gt oc in the for sale sectioin for about 330 if u can scrape up some cash.
