I currently have an AMD 3200 Clawhammer (s754). Anyways my motherboard died and so I have to get a new one...doh! I am giving my graphics card to my brother and updating mine. Now here is my problem. I think my A64 3200 s754 is fine right now as far as processors are concerned. But I need a new mobo and video card. Until just now I didn't realize that there are s754 mobo's out there that support PCI Express so I thought I was going to have to upgrade to s939.
My question is do you guys think I should just get this 7800 GT http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130247 and get one of those s754 mobo's. Or are those s754 mobo's that support PCI express crap? I was thinking the DFI Infinity nf4. And if not which ones would you suggest? Or should I upgrade to a s939 and get just a AMD 3700 San Diego and the 7800 GT/evga Mobo deal. I am really on a tight budget since I am just a poor college student and I all really want to do is to be able to play some new games out like Q4 and WoW and Vanguard when it comes out next year so I want to fully upgrade next summer and if I upgrade to a s939 now I won't be able to update for awhile except probably another 7800GT to put in SLI mode.
