Need Advice on Server Build

I built an HTPC a few months ago and am currently running a Flex Raid setup with 3 x 2TB drives. Since one of the drives is a parity drive I have 4TB of usable space. Unfortunately, I'm already down to about 1TB of usable space. (400+ compressed Blu-ray movies and a bunch of long TV series rips will do that to you...)

Anyways, I'm thinking about building a server with WHS 2011 and FlexRaid (1 or 2 parity drives) and then moving all my drives out of the HTPC into the server. I work at AMD so I can get a decent discount on mobo/E-Series combos or any other AMD products.

Here's what I'm thinking so far:

Case: NORCO RPC-4220 4U (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811219033)
MB/CPU: ASUS E45M1-M PRO w/ AMD E-450 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131875&name=Motherboard-CPU-VGA-Combo)
RAM: TBD
SATA Controller: SUPERMICRO AOC-SAT2-MV8 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815121009&name=Controllers-RAID-Cards)
Power Supply: TBD
HDD: Added to the FlexRaid pool as needed...

Suggestions and advice are appreciated :)

I have one of the SuperMicro AOC-SAT2-MV8 controllers, but I also have a server board with PCI-X slots. Will the controller work in a PCI slot? I've never tried it. I imagine it would have to be slower if it does. SuperMicro also makes a couple of PCIe controllers, but I have no experience with them.
