Need advice on my setup

I've got an AMD X2-3800+ Manchester cpu sitting on my DFI LanParty UT nF4 SLI-DR Expert motherboard, which I am ashamed to say, I have not overclocked. So my question is, since s939 is about dead it seems, should I OC the 3800+ or pick up another CPU and OC it? I saw the 4200+ special at newegg, but not sure thats really much of a benefit over the 3800+ in terms of overclocking. But I would like to get the most bang for the buck, and make this system last a while longer, so should I be looking at an Opty, and if so, which one?
