This is the case I bought.
I'm not going to be overclocking or anything of the sort. That's not why I'm asking. I'm asking because i live in the extremely host south, and my house has very crappy cooling. So... my room gets very hot. Very, very hot.

Will the case suffice as is?
Should I replace the fans?
My friend suggested I take the tunnel off the side of the case, and put a fan on it. Is that a good idea? All help is appreciated!

I've used 3 of those cases in builds recently, and in my opinion the fans aren't really sufficient.
However it depends entirely on your hardware.

If you're running three 8800 GTX's inside there, then yeah you have a problem.
One 9600 GT and you're fine.

So it's difficult to say. Post your PC specs and it'll be easier to help you.
;)

Out of curiosity, what is your room temp usually?

Haven't built the PC yet, but will be building it tomorrow:
Specs are:
CPU: E8400
GPU: 8800GT 512MB
RAM: 2GB DDR2
Sound card: X-Fi XtremeMusic
Two Sata HDDs, and an IDE HDD

I have a 120mm fan I bought a while back stuck in my current cruddy Dell PC, tied via bag ties (Ghetto, I know!)... I wonder if using that 120mm in place of the 120mm that comes with the case would be a good idea. Let me see if I can find out what sort of fan that is anywho.

Oh! And also, I have no idea of my room temp. Above normal, most definately. Probably in the high 80s/close to 90 during the summer. Nice and cool at night, though.

If you're looking to buy new fans to replace the stock fans, I would recommend SilenX fans.. After trying them out on my last build, I won't be buying from any other manufacturer for a LONG time.. Great movement of air with low noise.. I would take off that air duct on the side and slap an 80mm fan there instead, too.. :)
