Yesterday I replaced my fx5700 with a 6600 gt and now my computer is constantly freezing.
I am thinking it is a PSU problem. I had to replace my good PSU with a crappy generic one a few months ago because that was all I could afford. Its not catching up with me. So anyways I bought the vid card @ comp usa and today I may go return it and get PSU. I cant afford both this week so I will just have to buy the vid card again next week. My question is they have the OCZ powerstream 420W for 89.00 and the Antec Neo Power for 150.00
My system is as follows
Msi k7n2 delta
AMD throughbred 2200 +
CD Burner
DVD Rom
two HD
Two 120mm fans
and a 6600 gt
Now I do want a quality power supply but is the neo power really needed for my power requirments or would I do ok with the OCZ and save the 60 bucks?????.
