Ill use it mostly for regular desktop tasks, but i do play some games and would like solid performance there also.

I would like to stay under 50 dollars

Also, i was looking at the microsoft habu, is that any good?

My favorite mouse is still the MX510/518. Its just simple and perfect. The back and forward buttoms are laid out like "normal" whereas newer mice have had funkier layouts.

The Gx laser versions are cool too, but I still prefer the 518.

For desktop use I still prefer wired mice. My friends mostly think its odd, that I use high tech everything else and still a corded mouse. I just dont like the way wireless ones feel. A wireless/bt mouse on my netbook is great, but on the desktop, I just prefer the feel of the lighter corded guys. I had an MX700 for awhile but eventually sold it for a mx510. Then I used that for what, 4 years till it started bugging out. I warranty swapped it completely for free, and Logi sent me back a 518.

Logi doesnt mess around with their warranty either. Lifetime replacement means lifetime replacement, even if you dont have a receipt or a box. I send my 510 back in a cardboard box, they sent me a brand new, in box, mx518.

Thanks for the reply

Would the MX 518 be good for a claw grip?
