My threat list has been empty ever since I started folding. (ROC doesn't count since he mowed me over so quickly that he never even appeared on my threat list) Come on ya'll I need some motivation to ramp up some more. Who will step up to threaten me?


 
You are generating 50,000PPD, there aren't a lot of ppl that can afford that kind of hardware and power bill. I'm getting there, but it will be a while yet.

 
I'll be adding a third 280 GTX for christmas. That'll put my PPD around 41K. I'm also toying with the idea of building a quad 9800GX2 box. I'll have to see what my power bill looks like before I add a 3rd folding computer. If that's the case, I might be able to show up...

I'm working on getting there, just added a 9800GX2 yesterday.
 
We all have to start somewhere. I am planning on building an i7 with multiple GPUs at christmas, but just found out that a friend of mine will be working in Jakarta, Indonesia. he wants me to come visit and I don't want to pass it up, but I'm afraid the new folding rig may have to suffer. I could probably downgrade to a K9A2 based setup and still get it built or just wait a couple more months. I already have the HX1000 PSU, that should be good for 3-4 9800GX2s. If the ppd/$ is somewhat closer and the card exists I might go for 4850x2s. Ah the bliss of planning. :)
