Need a system restore disc of a HP Pavilion laptop.

Hey, can any of your guys tell me where to get a system restore disc for a HP Pavilion ZE4430US (Product# DK582A)? My friend replaced the hard drive on his laptop and needs to reinstall XP. He tried the HP web page and customer severe but they where no help. I would appreciate any help you all can offer.

Humm hp's partsurfer doesn't have them listed. You may want to try to sweet talk a tech at like compusa or frys as I know compusa at least has restore cds for alot of hp products. They get them because they are a warranty center. Maybe a bribe to a tech to make you a copy would work if they have them for that model?

Just download the drivers off the HP website, burn them to cd, and then install XP using a regular XP cd.

HP's Partsurfer doesn't list restore CD p/n's. There's another system for that.
