I'm looking for a 16 or 24 port switch that is rackmountable, allows trunking/LAG and VLAN setup. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If no gigabit needed Cisco 2950 buy it now on fleabay 38.88, if you want Layer3 capabilities Cisco 3550 on the bay also, buy it now $70.

If you need gig, in that budget prolly Netgear or a HP Procurve if your lucky.

Procurve 1800-24G or 1810-24G or even a 1910-24G. The 1800 ones are better if you can find them though.

I recommend a 3550, great lab switch.

Yes, I need Gigabit. I'll take a look at the Cisco switches. I was looking at a Linksys SRW-2016. Thoughts on that switch?

Don't see support for 802.3ad, SDM-based management may be a plus, I prefer the CLI though. Other than those issues it looks like a decent choice.
