Need a shallow mATX case

I like the Antec Minuet, but it's too deep at 17". Is there a good mATX case that is not so deep? I would like to keep it below 12" deep.

I think the Aspire Q-Pack is 14 inches or so.

I don't even think they make mATX cases that shallow. You may have to go ITX...

These measurements are in millimeters. For reference 304mm = 12in, 304mm = 30.4cm, 1cm = about one pinky finger width.

Shuttles are the only ones that come to mind that will be under 12" deep. Given that the main reason for that is that it's not even a micro-atx form factor, but a specialty that has a smaller footprint (m-atx is ~ 9" x 9", Shuttle is probably 9" x 6", or thereabouts).

I own all 3 of the cases already listed here, and can tell you that the Antec Minuet is 16.5" deep, the X-Qpack is 14", and only my Shuttle case is less than 12" (about 11 to 11.5). Of course, you'll have to add a bit more for the cable connections in the back, depending on the components you use, though you can take steps to minimize that as well.

I'd suggest going the way of the Shuttle, unless you have a lot of pci slot items that need to be included in your build. If that's the case, go with the X-Qpack.

I'd have to agree with Nivram, watchout for the mini towers, it can be very tricky trying to find small form factor graphics cards that preform well.

Just kind of a food for thought.
