Need a recommendation for a modem

In a nutshell, Uverse is coming to my area. ATT's gateways are **** and can't handle my network traffic. I have a home network run off of a Cisco 881w. Currently I use a Motorola 2210 modem configured in bridge mode and the authentication moved into my router. what I need is a VDSL modem to replace the motorola that will work with ATT. I want to leave my stuff as it as much as possible.
 
The 2Wire "router" part is junk....but you can do what's called "DMZ Plus Mode" and basically bridge it so that your own router that you connect to it is...the only router. Works great that way, I have a lot out there...rock solid.
