I'm not looking for pretty here. I go for function above all else. I'm consolidating all of my externals. It has to house 4 2tb drives as well as the 2 60gb SSDs from my former rig. I'm also looking at getting the Corsair H100. I've been leaning towards the Corsair 800d but I wonder if there are any less expensive options available. Any recommendations?
 
That's the case I would buy. It's was easily $220 last year.
An all aluminum full tower with the Lian Li quality.

Also it's a blank canvas for custom mods.
 
The 650 D would be my choice. I'm upgrading to it come December, and I can't wait. Plenty of room for all your drives, looks pretty, has great cooling, the side panel window is nice to see your hard work, and it's easy as cheese to clean the filters and such.
