Im slowly putting together my first build and I have to say a person doesn't like the idea of heatsink cooling after just taking a look at some watercooling options. I want to get one of the cheaper units like the corsair h55. I just want some reviews from people who uses it. I don't plan on doing any overclocking (watercooling does seem necessary now but im hooked) but whatever..............................

I used a h55 on my rig during an rma for my H220. I ran it @ 4.6Ghz with 1.36 volts. Idled in the mid 30c range. Gaming use it would get up to the high 60c to mid 70c range. My 3570k is delidded & uses liquid metal tim between the core & IHS. For regular thermal compound I use Ceramique between the IHS & coolers.

If you are using an Intel chip i don't think you will see any benefits with this cooler over an air cooler unless you delid it. I used a CM 212 & the temps were the same until I delidded my processor.
