My work PC is a Dell Optiplex GX620 which came with an ATI X600SE. I can't use ATI since I am running Linux on my system but don't have a massive power supply to hold a 7800+ series.

Can you guys recommend a PCI-E Nvidia (Only) card that will play UT2004, Doom3, CS:S, and some others with no problem.

The system has a 280W PS. :(

Don't know about wattage wise, but I believe a 6800 series card should work.

Go for a 7600 GT. Cheap and awesome performance for its price point. Handles 1280x1024 smoothly in the games you mentioned.

And I use a GX620 at work too, slowest Dell I have ever used. I actually switched back to my GX260 for a while. Have you tried looking into replacing the PSU?
 
You think the GX620 is slow?

Pentium D 3.0GHz and 2GB of DDR2 RAM. Not sure what you're doing to think that is slow.

Fortunately my Dell Precision 380 at work has a Quadro FX-4000 in it. :D

I have a 3.8ghz Pentium 4, not a D. It is terribly slow. I have a Conroe system on order though to replace this one. What garbage.
