hi all.

I am going to be building an SLI rig with 2 7800 GT (i think from evga) and an X2 3800+ (im overclockin it). In my current rig i have a Seasonic S12 which is totally silent and I love it. The SLI S12 is like 165 dollars which i think is too much. What I am looking for is a good PSU that is Silent (has like 1 120mm fan), will give me enough power for an SLI system, and maybe has those modular cables for neatness and better airflow.

Thanks

actually i now realize that i was looking at the 600 watt psu from seasonic, the 500 s12 is only 124, would 500 watts be enough for an SLI 7800gt, DFI LANPARTY UT SLI DR Expert (wht ever its called)

i think dfi recommends 480 watts for that board minimum so would 20 more watts be good?

Check my sig for what I have running with my S12 500 watter. The S12 500 watt is a nice PSU.

go for the Enermax 620 Liberty, if money is no problem go with the PCpower & Cooling
510 Turbo SLi which is the King of the Mountain

yea im liking the enermax liberty 500 watt for 109 on newegg it seems like a great deal, ill have to read up on its quietness
