I need a new keyboard/mouse...I was looking around at bestbuy and I noticed the Logitech MX620 mouse which looks really nice and has the scroll wheel like the revolution mouse but this one clicks as you scroll. Does anyone know if this mouse is good or not?


Also as for the keyboard I really like the LX710 an how it looks or the S510...which one of these is the better one?

One more thing, how long will the batteries last on the mx620 mouse and either one of the keyboards?
 
A review is one persons view on an item. In a forum I can get multiple views on a single item...possibly advice on other items...

I've read the reviews for the two keyboard combos but I havent found a review for the mx620mouse...
 
If you are gaming, then I cannot logically recommend that you purchase a wireless mouse / keyboard since the fact that they 'could' lose signal mid game is a killer for me (and most other gamers).

Most [H]ard users are gamers, which is why you have yet to receive many replies. Ask about a G5, mx518, or Razer Copperhead, and you will get responses by the boatload. Since everyone types and handles mice differently, go to the store and see what you like. Then read reviews. Also a lot of us [H]ard users are not on as much because of the DB issues.

As someone who is a Gamer.. I will say this. I have owned over 10 different Gaming mice in my life time. Various, Logitechs and Razors including the original Razor Boomslang.

As far as Wireless goes. I have to disagree with the previous poster. Wireless keyboard/mice combos for gaming have come very far. But it really depends on your Spending budget and ergonomic preference. If Logitech where to release a g15 keyboard that is wireless. I would own it in a heartbeat. I currently use the G7 wireless GAMING mouse. this mouse is awesome. Lag free, 2000 dpi, 2 batteries that are hot swappable. So there is no way you can lose power. A Battery sensor on the mouse itself. About the only NOn-wireless mouse I Am actually interested in is the brand new RAzor Lachey Mouse just announced that has 4000 Dpi. My gaming set right now is the logitech g7 and the g15 keyboard. IF they made a wireless set that bundled the G7 witha g15 wireless version that was bluetooth.. that would also be the set to get. they do have a nice Bluethooth Lazer/wireless combo set that does kickass but it generally retails for 149.. in stores. I would check for that set as well Online. If you can find it for like 99 dollars I would highly recommend it. The Mouse that it comes with is also an excellent Wireless gaming mouse.

Older generations of wireless mice Definitely where not designed around gaming. but this new generation from Logitech can definitely handle it.
