Hey guys, I am interested in setting up a cooling system for my computer. I want my system to run as cold as possible while still maintaining protability (for heading to lan-parties and the like.) Right now I have a Thermalake Aquarius III and I am not too happy with it. I mean it gets my Prescott Intel core down to about 50c which is far below the 75c it was running on just a fan, but I want more.

What kind of cooling system will allow me to get as low as it can go (for extreme OCing purposes) while still be able to pack up and head to a lan party with less than say 30 minutes and 30 minutes setup? BTW, I don't know my budget as of yet so if there are multiple options based on say "on a budget" or "money is no option." Please post em. Oh, and I don't know anything about how these systems work so if you could point me to a place that explains them that would be great.

ehm........you could go ahead and slap pelt or phase change on there, and have portable meaning that everything is in the same box, but might crush your core or mess up your insulation/condensation proofing if you jolt the case while moving it.......i don't think that extreme cooling is the best thing for a box that you plan on moving around.

might want to stick with really nice water cooling, like a swiftech apex kit with an added GPU block, or something along those lines.

chillled fluid, fluid immersion, direct die water, and most other legitimately extreme cooling options are typically not portable at all.

or portable if your idea of portability is around 70-80 lbs as long as it is in case... ;)

Has anyone else noticed that the new CM AMMO case dimensions mate up perfectly with a Vapochill[LS]?

It's got a steel case, and big handles for carrying. I just can't figure how to incorporate a 2.120 heater core into that mix.
It would be heavy, but not SUPA BIG.

Now that I think about it... I've had problems moving my 58lb beast around to LAN parties. Not due to the akward size (wheels).. but I'm sure all of that moving is somewhat responsible for some hardware failures I experienced shortly after. Fatigue is bad for compys.
