Need a new audio system

Hey

I currently have a Logitech audio system 5.1 attached to my PC (not at home so not sure of exact model) but it hasn't worked properly for ages so I'm after a new audio system.

I intend to use it for gaming / tv shows and have around £100 to spend on a system. I'm no audiophile so I'm not looking for a top of the line system but more for something that works well enough to make the purchase worthwhile...if that makes any sense at all.

I don't know what to look for so any help is very much appreciated.

I will add that some of the speakers I currently have in the 5.1 setup sound distorted and quiet which is why I'm looking to replace them. I assume they are "broken" but have no way to test this theory.

It sounds like the amplifier is shot. It's almost never worth even thinking about getting repaired.

Keep your eyes out for these. I paid $195 including shipping for them and they're fantastic speakers. It's a shame that Klipsch doesn't make these anymore, as they are a few steps above the ProMedia 2.1's in every regard...
