I am looking for a mid tower case for my gaming rig, It should'nt be expensive like Corsaid 900D. It should have good dust control (dust filters) and heat management system. It should have a glass door. Should have good space for water mounting heat sinks like Corsaid H80. Overall the case should have a tough build quality that should last forever where i can easily upgrade 4-5 generation rigs. Weight is not an issue for me

1) 4770K
2) Asus Z87 Pro Mobo
3) GTX 780 ( might SLI later)

Few cases that i am impressed are...

1) Corsair 650D
2) CM Storm trooper
3) Corsair 350D

Can I have your suggestions please?

What do you mean what does it mean? What does Corsair 650D mean? :)

I first time heard the name so when you said about fractoral design, I got confused, I thought you were asking about some fractoral design specification

+1 for Fractal Design R4. But if you got a micro atx mobo I would recommend the Corsair 350D. Love mine

Does this comes with a glass door? Whats so special about this case?

It comes in several color and window options. It's quiet, quality built, roomy and has a nice elegant design. And Fractal has great customer support.

Fractal Design's Arc Midi R2 is pretty nice as well. Plenty of mounting options for AIO coolers, as well as solid support for custom loops (up to 2x 240mm rads with no modifications to the case needed). Has a nice looking windowed side panel with a "smoke" tint which I really like. Good build quality, and good aesthetics to boot.

I have one and am pretty happy with it. Looking to move to the Arc Mini R2 when it's released, as I don't need a midtower.

I see that you currently have a Cooler Master 690. I had one as well for my main rig and moved everything into the Fractal Design Define R3 that I have now and absolutely love it. Cable management is great, I think it looks great and the build quality is superb. I have even sat on the case while working on it on several occasions. The only negatives I see are that there are only two 5.25 bays and my H50 CPU cooler is a bit of a tight squeeze to fit in. The Define R4 is basically the same as the R3 but with a few minor improvements. I bought a window panel for mine as well and it looks great.

P.S. I love the 690 also. It's a great case for the money and I still use it in one of my other builds.

Good luck deciding :)

Yes CM 690 is a good case. My present rig will not be shelved out, I will give it to my wife or use it as my back up rig. Right now I am in a desperate need of a new rig for gaming @ 2560 X 1600 resolution.

I am not sure if my statement about mid tower case is right. I compared R3 and R4 with Corsair 650 and it looks bit small in size. Is 650D a mid tower case? I thought any case which is smaller than Corsair 800D is will be considered in the category of mid towers.

I hope R3 and R4 will have enough space if I SLI or Xfire, use 2-3 HDDs, with a water cooling like Corsaid H100? In future I might even install a high end sound card. So I hope R3 and R4 are designed to accomodate such a circuit?

I have the Corsair 600t which is the same internal layout as the 650d. I hate the 200mm fan at the front. So hard to keep positive case pressure. Of the midtower Corsair cases I like the 550d. It has better fan options. That being said I would go with the Fractal Design Arc midi as well. You can mount the H100 in push pull without a problem if you want.
