Need a little help with Adobe Illustrator

Below is a screenshot of Adobe Illustrator I use. It's nothing big but it's a little annoying. My question is, how do I get rid of the "mini toolbars" shown by the red arrows? Is there a way to close those little windows?

i believe it's you theme, mine has the "x" to close it.

Try with a different Windows theme.

i agree.. look at the other palettes on the right. they are missing the Xs too (but not the minimize buttons)
just try clicking in the upper right hand corner and see if that works, otherwise switch themes and close em
