Need a good software to repair corrupted MP4 video files

I have a few MP4 files that doesn't play. I was about to try out AVS converter 6, but their demo ver. shows their logo at the dead center of the output file. So, I am looking for something better. Any recommendation on some 30 days trial software?

Basically the MP4 file locks up after the first 10 to 15 min.

This might sound crazy, but have you tried cleaning out the video codecs and reinstalling them?

No change.

And I try a piece of junk last night called MediaFixer, totally useless after wasted 6 hr. of CPU time.

Try to demux and then remux the video. Maybe just install mkvtoolnix and load up the mp4 video and remux it as a .mkv.

I don't know how to do the above, but a friend of mine has done just that. In the end, no change. In short, we gave up, it's not worth the time.
