So I just bought this case here.

Well it comes with 5x 5.25 bays open, and I need to find a way to fill them all, and with style and functionality.

So far what I have going in there is my Sony Dvd Burner, My cooldrive 6, and my soundblaster xfi fatal1ty.

What other 2 black devices can I put in there. The case has 9 fans and I can control 3 with the cooldrive. I have 1 extra DVD-Rom Drive, and an Extra Cd-Burner, but do I need 2 Cd- roms? Are there many fan controllers that can control 6 fans? I was even thinking a 5.25 resevoir... is that worth it?

My case theme is black and blue, since blue lights seem to be cheapest and most widely abundant.

Throw some ideas out there, and we can chat about this. Maybe Ill mod the case to do something its not supposed to... who knows?

Edit: Maybe also a way to turn off cathodes. Ive looked at a few panels that control cathodes too. Not totally necessary but neat to have nonetheless.
 
wow, thats cheap too!!

may have to get one to throw in the ol' xbox, the sony 5" makes me a little squinty when i want a portable jukebox/ftp server. good link
 
How big is the LCD exactly... I guess what I am asking is how well does it fit in there, what kind of modding is required, and how many bays would it take up?
 
Since I am water cooling, is the resevoir bay a good idea? I found a fan controller that controlls 6 fans, but only one, anyone ever see any others? Preferably black.
 
how bout a 5.25 floppy drive I got a black one around here somewhere,. ? :D

Hmm, I dunno, 5 bays seems like a lot, but its so easy to fill them all nowadays.
 
In my computer I have my Samsung DVD-RW and a Samsung DVD so I can copy DVDs straight to DVD-Rs. I have 4 5.25 bays, so that takes up two. Then eventually an X-Fi will go in there and maybe a fan controller, leaving for your PC only one extra...

I was thinking about that. But I posted here looking for innovative fan controllers, 3 pin mostly. I found only one that can do up to 6 fans. Most do 4. I have 9 case fans in the case, and then theres the processor fan...

So if there were a way to do all 10, that would be nice.
 
i have a simmalar problem with my case, except my void is 6x8 inches instead of just two bays worth and its not all cdrom sized bays, its going to have to be bondo'd flat and then ill have to figure somthing out....havent got any ideas yet :rolleyes:
 
I have a cm stacker with 11 5.25 bays. I have 3 DVD burners and one DVD-ROM. The DVD-Rom is quiet running and is used to watch DVD's on my secondary LCD. I have the 3 DVD burners because I sometimes perform back ups and being able to burn them simutaneously is a huge plus. And when not doing that. I just keep game discs in there.
