Need 5.1 soundcard..help?

So I have this soundblaster card, its kinda old and came with a Live Drive. I do not remember the model number or anything, but it has a digital out and stuff. Under speaker setup, I can choose 2 or 4 speakers, or headphones. But there is no option for a 5.1 setup. I have a center, 2 rear, 2 front, and a sub on my reciever. I tried using the digital out on the soundcard, but games and such do not to go all the speakers. So the last choice is to get a soundcard that outputs 5.1.

What would be a solid, but inexpensive, sound card to get that can produce 5.1 sound to my speakers by connecting it to my reciever?

Seconded. That is the least expensive of the two Dolby Digital Live sound cards out now... if your reciever can decode Dolby Digital 5.1, you will get 5.1 surround sound with this card.

To do it digitally with a reciever? Yes. Dolby Digital Live is a *GAMING* feature.

No, it does not do Dolby Digital Live.
 
Do all games support digital surround? Or could I just use analogue connections to it? Like analogue rear speaker from soundcard to reciever, center speaker from soundcard to receiver..kinda like that? Isn't that what the 5.1 and 7.1 soundcards do?
 
Most cards support 5.1 gaming with ANALOG. Only Dolby Digital Live sound cards support 5.1 gaming with Dolby Digital 5.1.
 
I was looking at the X-Mystique too, and neither of them support EAX 3.0 OR 4.0 :(

Would that be a big problem for games?

Not really. It will still sound pretty good. Besides, X-fi's are too expensive for what you get.
