I bought a 1000+ watt and found it only had enough pci-express cables to power 3 videocards. I would prefer a cheap (while still functioning) 1000-1200 watt power supply that has will support 4 videocards. Maybe cheap and 4 videocard support is an oxymoron. What should I be looking for? I prefer using newegg. And one with preferably very long cables.

You don't need to buy a new PSU, you can use Molex -> PCIe adapters.. what's the PSU in question and what graphic cards do you have?

It is a 1000 watt rosewill bronze. This guy right here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182188

Could you show me what one looks like by chance? / a product listing of one?

I have 4x5830's. Since I am using a full tower case I am also having trouble reaching one of the power connectors to the motherboard (not the main one, the supplementary smaller one) and I'm curious if there is some kind of extension cable I can purchase for that as well.

Thank you for your insight.

Ordered. Now is there some form of extender available for the motherboard hook up? "Jpwr2" hook up on motherboard. I believe its 8 pins. Can I convert yet another molex to an 8 pin pci-e and have it hook up here or is there just a regular extension to use?

^^ that's what you're looking for, the PSU is a Sirfa/Sirtec made unit with plenty of power for a quad 5830 setup, just keep in mind that is a 4 rail design and you should balance the load between the rails... as for the 8pin EPS connector you can't reach, you can find extensions pretty much everywhere, NZXT makes good quality ones for example.

I essentially needed the correct terminology for the connector. I'll order one by NZXT asap. Thank you all for the fast replies.
