Has there been any reviews or input around here over this model?

This looks like a pretty nice LCD for those that can't afford the more expensive 20WMGX2

Here is a URL on the LCD2070WNX

What type of panel and bit is it?

Also has anyone have made any purchases from http://spacecentersystems.com/ ?

I live in Hawaii and they ship USPS priority mail so this is a BIG savings for me, here's a screener of that shipping and cost:

I got excited at first, thinking this would be a cheap 20wmgx2 alternative without the glossy screen and extra inputs. From the quoted specs, it looks like its just a TN panel with a dynamic backlight.

It is a TN.

Yuck TN, forget this, I think I might get a Samsung 204T.

If you are not going to get a widescreen why dont you look at the NEC LCD2070NX which uses an S-IPS panel.

What about the 1970NX is it also S-IPS?

Well this is certainly a better panel then the 204T. How is the response time, ghosting, tearing, backlight bleeding, etc...

This has from what I have seen a DVI-D port, so how do you use this when you are using the latest generation cards, 7900GTs with DVI-I?

Or will a DVD-D cable go into a newer generation card with the DVD-I end on it?

THANKS

The other thing I forgot to mention is this LCD is just a temporary monitor to game with untl I can find something in the 24" range that I like, afterwards this will be my WorkRigs monitor which will replace my NEC 19" CRT, so when I consider the cost of the NEC it is $140 more that I'd rather not spend.

Given Samsungs reputation I'd think that the 204T should be pretty decent unless someone has something to show that these Super-PVA panels sucks.

Once I've switched this LCD to my work rig I might do some gaming on it, but older games not so appropriate for SLI, and I'll watching movies mainly DivX so hopefully this LCD would be more then sufficent for this.
