My poor CRT might be dieing! Lately the screen has been jolting - it is hard to explain. Also there is a line that goes up and down in the bottom half of the screen that is kinda brighter then the image it goes over (this is also hard to explain). What can I do? It should be under 3 year nec warrenty but I would hate to send it back and get some junk refurb. Also with all the CRT's vanishing I would hate to end up with some LCD(no offense LCD owners but hey, they just aren't for me) any ideas? This CRT is among the best I have ever had the pleasure to use - better then both the A400 Sony I had and the P95f+ I had. Keep in mind I am an HS Senior and I don't want to have to blow 300 on a new monitor - even if it is one of those nifty sony widescreen CRT's on ebay :( The image is fine 93 percent of the time - but every once in a while it will do this.

I hope it lasts until graduation - at that time I could make a push for one of those nifty sonys :) assuming my eyes still work that is
