Does anyone know the model#/specs/price of the NEC displays used in fast food shops like Wendy's and McDonald's? I notice they are almost always NECs. Not really possible to get up close to find a model number or see how heavy the AG coating is.

Are these 16:9 or 16:10?
Most probably not good for gaming but how is it as a large display for general PC usage?

They are 1080p 16:9. I've been thinking they would be good for a living room TV setup. They have a super thin bezel too.

They vary but they're typically something like P462 or X463UN.

Since these are designed for 24/7 usage and have other professional-grade features like a built-in OPS slot for PCs or option cards, they're a bit more expensive than your typical consumer-grade TV.

ArtMarshall-

Thanks! Those are most probably the ones I saw. I remember seeing the super thin bezel one. Damn that's expensive. Why is it so pricey in comparison to the P462? CCFL vs W-LED seems to be the only difference.

You guys don't plan to offer the same panels but stripped down of inputs and other pro-grade features do you?
Curious to know if these two would be great as a regular TV/pc monitor.

They're designed to be 24/7 and industrial grade, so they have plenty of extra engineering work (and material!) to make a strong frame that dissipates heat without a bezel.

We have similar panels in our E Series that are more simplistic but still commercial grade, like the E462.
