NEC 20WMGX2-BK

Thanks, is this a good choice for the money? I can't really afford to jump up to 1080X yet, unless the 24" gateway is better than I have heard.

It's the best 20" monitor...I don't think that is disputed. It's also the most expensive but from what I hear it's probably worth it.

its a good choice, i got one 2 weeks before xmas and loved it and then yesterday i picked up a second one!!

Hells ya it's disputed. The NEC 20WMGX2-BK does have less ghosting than other 20" LCDs, so it's excellent for gaming, but I for one prefer the HP LP2065 (even for gaming) because it has a native res of 1600x1200 and it doesn't have a glossy screen.

I guess I should have said 20" widescreen....the closest thing to matching the NEC would be the Dell 2007WFP, but I don't think many will argue that it is better than the 20WMGX2 unless they just can't stand glossy panels.

Hmm, that HP monitor looks nice. Is it HDCP compliant? I would be using it for my ps3. Thanks.

I've had one for almost a year and love it.

Personally, I like the glossy panel much better than the matte look. You just need to be in a room where you can control the lighting.
