NB Heatsink Recommendation

I have my rig OC'd in my sig @ 1.575 Volt with a Noctua DH-14. It runs @ 4.125Ghz with 4th core unlocked.

Now my NB question.

I have my NB running at 1.4125V or 1.46125 at the moment, can't really remember off hand. Will just the stock aluminum heatsink (PICTURE) be good enough for my NB or should I look into a different heatsink+Fan or just a fan? If you notice it is "L" shaped or kinda like a 2 step stair, and the second step has like a roof on it where as the first step has fins, what kind of fan or fans should I purchase for it to effectively operate? Anyone know how much temps would drop on a NB like that with an added fan. Recommendations are welcome.

Ok I checked my PC and it crashed sometime this morning, so I dropped NB to 1.35 for today and tonight kept CPU same volts& memory same volts (1.617v), see how long it goes stable for this time.

In the meantime, any ideas on a fan to cool it? I noticed there's various small 20mm, 25mm 30mm fans for sale on newegg. I dunno how I would mount one the best way though ...any ideas / reccomendations?
 
If you have good airflow in the case and not just on the components, I don't think any more blow on the stock heatsink will do much good.

I have a board (sig) with a particularly mediocre NB/SB stock cooler. I have good airflow in and out of the case, but the NB would measure in the 70s without much load at all. I bought one of these and the readings dropped into the 40s.

I got it somewhere for $25, a bit steep, and I can't speak for how well it would affect your stability, but it looks like it would benefit much more from good case flow than your stock HS. It's about as tall as a modern video card, so there's much more room for heat to dissipate into the sink and more room for air to pass through than stock stuff.

So there's my anecdote, and here's my advice: don't bother with those 40mm and smaller fans, get a good sink instead.
